Entrance to Ka-Ma-La-Chi Land
As a child, I stood on a large wooden platform, a deck, and stared out to the thousands of trees and bushes, stretching out into the distance. There was a steering wheel of sorts, and that is where my sister and I created a world of our dreams. The deck was transformed into a boat, And we sailed to the wonderful world of Ka-ma-la-chi land. It was a world where anything could happen, and often did. When we reached our destination, we got out and explored. Things were no longer what they seemed, they were magical. There were sea serpents just beyond the boat. It was a land where my sister was queen, and all of our dreams could be fulfilled. A mystical race was always out of sight, but never out of mind. It was a place where we could hide from the fighting of our mother and father, and always be happy.
