Metal Carriages
These metal carriages Ride with their forty plus horses To the destiny they have destined for themselves Job to home Home to work -- back & forth. A stop here @ the gym to lift weight, to build muscle-- To walk treadmills to nowhere, to lose some weight, to hop aboard their chariots of steel once more to continue the pursuits of physical gain & loss Oh, we have a family to feed & schedules to meet & other drivers to cut off so we can get there on time Tic’ tock, tic’ tock --> Just time enough to speed up & be on our way
Pursuits for survival--- Let’s climb the corporate ladder And toss of those who get in our way--- For it’s my family over yours--- My SUV’s bigger than your SUV The triumph of the bigger automobile is that We can DRIVE YOU DOWN. Wait for us, for We own the road
Metal Carriages go their way to bar hop to another tap & Drunk Drive -->
To buy this that & the other to keep our houses stocked with Possessions & collectibles Drive here, Drive there, Drive to Drive--- Owning this hunking metal chariot buys a piece of the road => to Drive & ride on into the sunset, and on through the night, searching for the truth Through material pursuit
