Hearing, Seeing, Feeling, and Healing
a.k.a. The Triad, or (3=4)
A Deaf man mimes for
A Blind man who cannot See Him
But the man without Sight has a different kind of VISION
He leans on his cane as he hears the shuffling footsteps
Of a random street performer
And through his shades the blind man receives a sight from
Beyond this world & the Blind man hears,
Oh yes he hears, But not just from his ears,
But he hears voices through his throat as well
The funny thing is, the Deaf Man,
the MIME, hears these voices through his throat as well,
And thus they are connected & more than either know,
For second sight has graced the MIME as well,
So each could live in his own private hell,
Yet through the starry seven,
They each choose their very own individual Heaven.
Now, in stumbles a Numb man whose body is broken &
He has been told he will never HEAL
Well, the blind man hears him walking &
The MIME sees him stopping,
& though the new man cannot FEEL,
All 3 are on a mission to HEAL,
For though the NUMB man
had lost the feeling in his body long ago,
His spirit, heart & soul can reach
Farther than you can EVER know.
So the MIME, TRAPPED, within his box,
Had finally broken free
& there’s no more wind to walk against,
For there’s a calm here out at sea
* Now, the Blind Man could see this VISION from beyond,
& voices channeled through him,
As if he were a deitific Wand.
Now, the words that issued from his mouth,
I cannot rightly say,
For I was nothing more than the Wind,
That bright & shining Day,
Yet, I know the numb man,
Feeling none or all, collapsed into a dreadful Fall,
Yet, the mime being swift, Answered the Angels’ call
& caught the Numb man in his arms, body, soul & All
== Meanwhile, the blind man, through his ears,
Heard a painful cry, yet still cast off all fears,
& cast away his cane as well,
Went forth & fell to his knees to pray,
as the storytellers say & tell,
Yet he clutched the ankles of his savior
& They vanished there that day
Where the three men went, I cannot say
Yet they did redeem each other,
For, being Men,
they were Brother, Brother, & Brother
Yet I can say that they did heal
& their spirits can be reached through
the ONE TRIBE’S HEART
& Through the All Knowing Will
& They are Living Still
